Thomas is three!!!

Thomas had a fabulous birthday party on Saturday March 19th and declared ‘I love birthdays’.

I have been bad at keeping up to date on the blog as I am back working full time so things in the social media sphere have been slipping.

Thomas has been obsessed with the three little pigs and the big bad wolf for a year and absolutely loves building houses and having the wolf come and blow it down. He is super keen on costumes, especially party frocks, and loves making his own outfits from sellotape and napkins/paper/ribbons. Since Christmas he has become more willful and time out has been implemented but he remains a gorgeous, cuddly, funny darling boy.

He is at daycare, Oma Rapeti, 3 days a week and has Sophie the nanny looking after him every Wednesday and Thursday which is a good balance for him and us. He has made his own friend at daycare called Spike who came to his birthday party, I was a very proud Mom!

Ill try to update more photos – but for now here is a party selection from his birthday.Thomas party invite (1) IMG_1435 IMG_1438 IMG_1442 IMG_1444 IMG_1448 IMG_1451 IMG_1452 IMG_1453IMG_1459 IMG_1462

Princess Thomas

o Thomas has been desperate for a dancing outfit, this is what he wanted! Purchased in January 2016

He wore this for three weeks straight and insisted on being called Strawberry Shortcake and not answering to Thomas at daycare.

After 6 weeks in Wellington doing ‘Pete’s Dragon’ pickups Thomas and I are going home to Auckland – yay! Thomas has been at an ikids daycare and had his fantastic nanny Grace.

At his last day of ikids he made a farewell hat which has christmas trees attached, very fabulous. Thomas has had a wonderful time, his top activities have been playing hide and seek in our hotel apartment, going to the Zoo and Te Papa, watching the Disney channel too much so Mom can make dinner! He has also really enjoyed time with his Wellington buddies Fred, Vinnie, Bruno and Edward. Plus playing with his cousins Barnaby and Beau.

Thomas is very interested in why things die, he does not want to die when he is old and would like me to hold him when he dies – heartstrings! But most death questioning is around the more mundane, like do flowers die, cheese, forks, milk, ribbons, toys, ice and the list goes on.

Home we go for the next adventure and endless questions!
